Police Arrested 35 Protesters in Ferguson
Ferguson police arrested 35 participants of an unauthorised protest meeting against the murder of Michael Brown.
According to the police, the meeting, that was intended to be a peaceful protest, gathered over 150 people.
The protesters called for arrest of the policeman who killed Michael Brown and the resignation of the County Prosecutor Bob McCulloch.
The local authorities claimed that the protesters were throwing rocks, concrete blocks, bricks and bottles at the policemen. Four activists were charged with assault on police officers.
Police officer Darren Wilson fatelly shot a 18-years-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, August, 10. The incident caused an unrest in the city, that lasted several days. A number of citizens were injured in clashes with the police officers, who used tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse the crowd.
