Deputy FM: Washington Wants War to Continue
On Monday, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said US wants to have the Ukrainian reconciliation deal revised.
"We see that they (Washington) are not satisfied with the (February 12) Minsk agreements. This is unfortunate. They would like to have them revised," Ryabkov said. He noticed that US policy toward Ukraineis not directed to searching a peaceful formula that would satisfy both sides of conflict, but Washington attempts to help "a war party in Kiev" to win the battle.
On February 12, presidents of Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France worked out a list of measures which can stop the military conflict in Donbas. According to the most recent UN information, the military conflict took away over 6,000 lives.
