Poles Go Against Warsaw's Support for Ukraine
On Friday, April 10, 2015 thousands of people are expected to gather in Polish city of Krakow to show their disagreement with Warsaw's policy of support for Ukraine.
The protest organizer Mlodzi Malopolscy Patrioci want to show Poles' "real relationship" with Ukraine, and the fact that Polish citizens do not support any kind of confrontation with Russia. About 6,700 people are expected to attend the rally. In March, Warsaw announced that Poland would provide military training to Ukrainian troops in accordance with NATO's Defenсe Education Enhancement Programme. Warsaw, following its allies, has repeatedly lashed out against Russia for its alleged aggression in Ukraine.
Moscow denies its involvement in the Ukrainian conflict, which has claimed over 6,000 lives since it started a year ago.
