24.11.2008 16:18

Alexander Bastrykin, Head of the Investigating Committee at the Russian Prosecutor’s Office, claimed that Russian investigators established that during the August conflict Georgia used prohibited types of weapons.

"We have established facts of blanketing non-selective fire by MRLS Grad against residential quarters of civilian population in South Ossetia and convoys of refugees, as well as facts of the use of prohibited cluster warheads of Grad-2 rocket projectiles”, he said today at the International Conference of Humanitarian Law.
